The United Way of the Mohawk Valley recently had the opportunity to bring volunteers together for a fun evening of community service at Saranac Brewery during the Dark Star Orchestra concert. United Way volunteers helped support the event by assisting with beverage service throughout the evening, giving community members an opportunity to volunteer, connect with others, and support the organization’s mission.
The United Way of the Mohawk Valley recently brought community partners and supporters together to help local students start the school year prepared and ready to learn. Through the Back-to-School Community Give Back, generous contributions from GPO, AIS, Ramboll, and community donors provided essential school supplies to students in the Utica City School District and New Hartford Central School District.
The first-ever United Games brought local businesses and community members together for an afternoon of competition and fun. The United Games kicked off the United Way of the Mohawk Valley's annual Workplace Campaign at F.T. Proctor Park. The event took place Saturday and featured a relay race, obstacle course and a cornhole tournament with a $500 prize.
United Way of the Mohawk Valley announced the promotion of three team members into expanded leadership roles, recognizing their contributions to the organization and the communities it serves. The promotions reflect United Way’s continued investment in its team and commitment to strengthening community impact across the Mohawk Valley.
