The United Way of the Mohawk Valley recently brought community partners and supporters together to help local students start the school year prepared and ready to learn. Through the Back-to-School Community Give Back, generous contributions from GPO, AIS, Ramboll, and community donors provided essential school supplies to students in the Utica City School District and New Hartford Central School District.
Backpacks, notebooks, crayons, folders, and other classroom essentials were distributed to help ensure students have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. While these donations provide important resources, they also represent something greater—a community coming together to support local children and families and help students begin the school year with confidence.
The United Way of the Mohawk Valley extends its sincere thanks to all of the community partners, donors, volunteers, and school staff who helped make this initiative possible.
