We had such a nice evening, spending time with the residents of Jason Gwilt Senior Memorial at 50 Forward Mohawk Valley in Verona Beach. Sitting together, sharing conversations, and getting to know Everyone being a little better was truly the best part of the night. We decorated stockings, enjoyed music, and watched a wonderful performance by the Empire Center of Dance. Many of the Christmas wishes we received were for everyday essentials like shampoo, laundry detergent, and trash bags, and through our partnership with Catholic Charities of Oneida and Madison County, We were able to turn those wishes into gifts for 50 seniors. We’re incredibly thankful for the Community Engagement Committee volunteers and our United Way team that joined us and helped make the evening possible. It meant so much to see so many people show up for our seniors. Thank you as well to Starbucks, Ferlo’s Original Bakery, Dippin Donuts, and Spressos Coffee Cookies Cakes for donating refreshments and desserts, and helping support this celebration.
