Day of Action: Park & Trail Cleanup
The Day of Action is a community-wide volunteer event focused on improving and caring for our local public spaces. In partnership with Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful, volunteers will help create cleaner, safer, and more welcoming environments for families across the region.
This year, we are hosting multiple cleanups throughout Utica and a community project in Herkimer County. Whether we are clearing litter from city parks or maintaining neighborhood green spaces, your support directly impacts the beauty and safety of our community.
Volunteers in Utica will assist with litter removal and general beautification at various sites, including O'Connor, Quinn, and North Utica Parks, as well as several key intersections and rail areas. During these cleanups, participants will also visit the Born Learning Trail signs, highlighting the importance of maintaining interactive spaces that support early childhood development.
