Tailgate Party 2020 raises $3,190

Marc Butler and Waterfront Grille Owners, Rocky & Barb Fiato Hosted 17th Annual United Way Fundraiser

January 19, 2019 – Herkimer, NY. On Sunday, January 19, Former Assemblyman Marc Butler as well as Rocky and Barb Fiato, owners of the Waterfront Grille, hosted the 17th Annual United Way Tailgate Party for the NFL Divisional Round playoff games. The event took place at the Waterfront Grille, 800 Mohawk Street in Herkimer.

Marc Butler stated, “Our annual Tailgate Party to benefit United Way has grown to be a popular event that is a great way to not only have an enjoyable afternoon of football, food and prizes, but it’s an easy way to support United Way, an organization that does so much for our community.”

This year, approximately 80 attendees helped raise $3,190, while enjoying delicious all-you-can-eat food, trivia and trying to win 30 different raffle baskets donated by local businesses and community members. Autographed Buffalo Bills, New York Jets and New York Yankees swag were some hot items up for grabs.

Because everything was donated, from the raffles to the delicious food, 100% of funds raised from this event directly benefit our community through United Way of the Valley & Greater Utica Area. Next year this event is sure to bring something new keeping things fresh and fun for its loyal supporters and those attending for the first time.
